They find each other and through an adventure of survival and finding purpose, they embark on a journey to take back the planet from the machines that have destroyed it.

9 is a visceral and thought-provoking film about humanity through the eyes of its own creation. It is not for younger children (as it is rated PG-13) with scenes of intense action and a few good "jumps", but the story is one of loss, hope, and ultimately rebirth and keeping a focus on that is good for any age.
